Global fashion retailer, JUICE may have its roots embedded in Asia since its inception back in 2003, however, JUICE Los Angeles marks the first location for the brand to embark on truly bridging the gap between East and West. At the helm, we have Chinese-Canadian superstar Edison Chen, who himself has embodied this “East-meets-West” cultural ethos by way of his acting, music and cult clothing brand CLOT. Bringing his vision to the City of Angels, JUICE Los Angeles saw its official opening in July 2021.
While there are crossovers from what JUICE’s Asian sister stores carry—namely CLOT—JUICE Los Angeles sets itself apart not just in its North American-location, but as a cultural hub that expands its roster of brands to more international names and partnerships. Seen as a destination to hang out, the Downtown, Los Angeles space offers a curated list of contemporary fashion and lifestyle goods from all across the U.S. and U.K., as well as China, Taiwan, Japan, and more. These include the likes of Nike, Undercover, Alyx, MEDICOM Toys, Kuumba International, Yeenjoy, Objective and JUICE Los Angeles' own in-house collection to name a few.
JUICE Los Angeles also serves as an ever-changing space for contemporary art, an extension of Edison Chen’s personal passion. While coveted products and rare collectables are always at the forefront of the store, being able to stop by and see physical art from Edison’s own network of artists continues the shop's position as a go-to for anyone visiting the city. The space is also the launching pad for JUICE Los Angeles’ packed-out pop-ups, collaboration launches and events. From partnering with neighbors AFURI Ramen, to the release of the CLOT x Nike “KODs,” to JUICE LA’s capsule collection launches, there’s always a reason to come through, whether you’re familiar with Eastern or Western culture; or better yet, embrace both.
