Hong Kong based streetwear brand-slash-diffusion label CLOTTEE by CLOT goes back to its roots with its newest Autumn/Winter 2021 collection, entitled "DYNASTY". The lineup is inspired by old-age affluent dynasties and their traditional art styles. The silhouettes themselves swayed by the bare bones of street-centric fashion featuring patchwork style pull-overs, corduroy fabrics, and old-school jacket styles.

The collection looks at what made streetwear the ever-popular genre it is today, defined by its links and international ties to the era-defining family tree of art, music, and other creative mediums in the prior eras. With this newest "DYNASTY" collection of streetwear staples, CLOTTEE has redefined its very own lineage representing the newer generations.

Linking the idea of ancient Chinese artistic modes, CLOTTEE bonds this concept with old-school & new-school street identity. Adding the notion of paying homage to the predecessors before us - through the ancestral dynasties of the old-age or the OGs that have paved the way for the scene.

 

The unique collection boasts a range of ancient Asian heritage motifs mixed with new-age contemporary flair, featuring celestial themes of tigers, phoenixes, dragons, and clouds. Imprints, patchwork contrast linings, and traditional seals punctuated on comfort-heavy silhouettes; showcased on long-sleeve t-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, anoraks, jackets, and pants. Highlight pieces include CLOTTEE wardrobe staples elevated in new colorways and styles such as the Quilted Pattern Jacket, Waffle-Knit Henley Tee, and the contrast Contrast Corduroy Trucker Jacket and Pants combo.

 

The campaign elegantly features the sensibilities of the inspiration remix, highlighting the minimalist motifs and versatility of the collection. The images capture the bond between the laid-back style of the old-school and the playful nature of the new-school, infused with traditional tones.
